This MBSR course offers students an opportunity to learn several different forms of mindfulness practices (mindful breathing, walking meditation, mindful movement, and more) and practice bringing mindfulness into our daily activities, self-care, work, relationships, and communication. Using mindfulness, we will explore stress reactivity and habits, and find more skillful ways of responding to stress. The course teaches practical ways to integrate mindfulness into daily life and to build and sustain a personal mindfulness practice.
No prior experience with mindfulness or meditation necessary.
Sundays 2:00 - 4:30 PM at Savasana Station (212 Ave B, Entrance on 13th Street)
